We need your help!
The Zippers need a volunteer for a once a month task. The Zippers donate clothes to Career Closet at BRCC. They need someone who can deliver the clothing once a month. If you can help out, please contact Andrea Normand at 225-506-8622 or [email protected]. Not only will your service be appreciated but you will be helping many people.

The Zippers/ Rita's Closet will be open on Thursdays from 7:30 till 10:30 AM
on the following days:
September 19
September 26
October 10
October 24
The Zippers/Rita's Closet can be contacted at 225-506-8622 for any questions.
The Zippers are grateful for your donations however, due to limited storage and work space they cannot accept furniture, electronics (computers, TV’s, copy machines, DVD/CD players), CD’s, DVD’s, books (unless children’s books), damaged or inoperable equipment, unsold garage sale items, items without chargers, power supply cords or remote controls.
-Car seats, except booster seats
-Clothes that smell of cigarette smoke
-Please be considerate of the size of bags!
-Toys without the all the pieces or broken
-Old boxes of items from attic
-Due to limited space, and excessive donations you may be asked to return at another time with your donation or asked to call Joseph’s Storehouse to donate your items, see below
To donate furniture or large amounts of useable items please contact
Joseph's Storehouse: 225-771-8858, Baton Rouge or 225-615-8659, Baker.
They will usually come pick up these items.
